Micah Chambers-Goldberg was born to hippie parents during a blizzard in Vermont, U.S.A. By the age of two, he was sculpting planes and giant people out of Legos. Much to his parents' surprise and delight, by five, he was drawing images and pictures too numerous to count. By then it was clear that this passionate pursuit of creativity, innovation, and originality had begun coursing through Micah's veins since before birth.

In his late-teens, Micah began a major in animation at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Within months of his arrival, he was granted an internship at DreamWorks Feature Animation where he was frequently exposed to some of the best Illustrators in the world. Inspired by the quality of work being produced at DreamWorks, Micah devoted endless hours to his own thesis film, "Brain Juice," which debuted at film festivals both domestically and internationally, receiving critical acclaim.

After college, Micah moved to California and began to delve deeper into painting. He spent the next few years in Los Angeles venues making live paintings while sharing the stage with Def Poetry Jam poets, internationally-recognized musicians, and spoken word artists. Within the span of an hour, a blank canvas backdrop would transform into a vibrant, multi-dimensional scene under his brush strokes, born from the live music, poetry, and lyrics that would soundtrack his work throughout the evening. These paintings, among many others, were later exhibited, bought, and sold in various galleries throughout the Los Angeles area.

As Micah's work began to grow more and more recognizable, his signature style has been increasingly sought after by not only patrons and art lovers, but also authors and book publishers. He has since branched into illustrating children's books such as Even Super Heroes Get Diabetes, Stone Soup, Annie Oakley, Paul Bunyan, Daniel Boone, and many more. He also started teaching painting and drawing to students ages 4 and up at The Wizard of Art in Los Angeles as well as creating storyboards for feature films and HBO.

Micah's ability to create artistic excellence in a wide array of mediums recently caught the eye of the third largest toy company in America, JAKKS Pacific, where Micah accepted a job designing toys and showroom environments for their company including Pokemon, WWE, Rocky, and Tron 2, to name a few. In addition to his current work with JAKKS Pacific, within the past year Micah has produced and directed a music video, two live-action short films, and his first feature live-action film, now in development.

The dynamic and varied experiences in Micah's daily life provide him with a unique and authentic approach to each and every medium he undertakes. As a filmmaker, the camera becomes a paintbrush, expressing the same supernatural and extraordinary ideas that populate his work in all other mediums. Recognized as an accomplished and ever-imaginative painter, designer, illustrator, and filmmaker, Micah Chambers-Goldberg continues to convey his visions through the same eyes that, as a child, turned his Legos into giant people.
